my car has been struggling to start for the past week and I kept ignoring it thinking maybe it was just the AC draining something, but this morning it finally gave up completely in my building's parking lot in Downtown. I have a small sedan that takes a 50Ah battery and after asking around a bit, a few people told me Amaron is a solid brand that lasts well in Dubai's heat. Now I am trying to find a reliable Amaron 50Ah car battery service in Downtown Dubai because I really do not want to drive around with a dying battery and get stuck somewhere worse, like on Sheikh Zayed Road during rush hour. The thing is, I have never bought a car battery here before so I am not sure what a fair price looks like or whether these mobile services actually bring genuine batteries or just whatever they have lying around. I also do not know if I should just go to a physical shop or if the delivery and installation option is worth it. Has anyone here used a mobile battery service before and can tell me roughly what to expect in terms of cost and how long it takes? Also, how do I check that the battery is actually new and not old stock that has been sitting in a warehouse for two years? I read somewhere that the manufacturing date is usually stamped on the top or side but I am not sure exactly where to look. Any tips would really help me out because I need to sort this out in the next day or two before I end up stranded somewhere inconvenient. Thanks in advance. |
