Every time I drive out towards Liwa or the desert edges, I come back with what feels like a fresh layer of microscopic pitting on the front bumper. It's not visible from a distance but up close the paint looks sandblasted. I'm wondering if film genuinely helps with this or if it just delays the inevitable. I read about How PPF shields paint from UAE heat and sand and it explained the film taking the impact instead of the paint, which sounds promising, but I'd like to hear from people who do regular desert runs. Does the film itself get damaged by sand over time and need replacing sooner? And does it handle the heat without going yellow or peeling at the edges? |
